After a hiatus of almost 20 years, 2009 saw the triumphant return of SPANDAU BALLET, one of the UK's most successful pop bands. Filmed during their sell out concerts at London's O2 Arena, Tony, John, Gary, Martin and Steve return with a vengeance in The Reformation Tour that brought their loyal fans stomping to their feet all throughout the entire concert.

"Gold" is a song by English new wave band Spandau Ballet, released on 5 August 1983 as the fourth single from their third album, True. The song was written by the band's guitarist/songwriter Gary Kemp as an homage to the film themes of composer John Barry that was especially influenced by his scores for the James Bond series. This was apparent to some music critics, but they were sharply divided in their reviews. Some appreciated the energy and drama behind it while others found it affected and overwrought.

The song peaked at Number 2 on the UK Singles Chart and made the top 10 in several other countries, but its Number 29 showing in the US and the disappointing chart performances of the next two singles released there led to the band's decision to change record labels.

"The Wild Boys" is the twelfth single by English new wave band Duran Duran, released on 26 October 1984 in the United Kingdom. The song was the only studio track on the band's live album Arena (1984), and was produced by Nile Rodgers, who had previously remixed the band's previous single "The Reflex". It was recorded at the end of July 1984 at Maison Rouge Studios in London.

"The Wild Boys" became one of the band's highest-charting singles, peaking at Number Two on the US Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks, behind "Out of Touch" by Hall & Oates and "Like a Virgin" by Madonna, while reaching the top spot on the US Cash Box Top Singles chart and in Germany and South Africa.

It peaked at Number Two on the UK Singles Chart and on the Irish Singles Chart, as well as in several European countries. It also became the band's highest-peaking single in Australia, reaching Number Three. As of October 2021, "The Wild Boys" is the 10th-most streamed Duran Duran song in the UK.

It was filmed at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England, Great Britain on 16 December 2011 during the All You Need Is Now Tour and released on 2 July 2012.

I'll Be Over You (35th Anniversary Tour) - TOTO

"I'll Be Over You" is a hit single by the American rock band Toto. Released as the lead single from their 1986 album, Fahrenheit, the song reached Number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1986. 

Lead vocals were sung by guitarist Steve Lukather, who co-wrote the song with hit songwriter Randy Goodrum (one of several collaborations between the two). Guest musician Michael McDonald provided the vocal counterpoint on the recording.

"I'll Be Over You" spent two weeks at Number One on the Adult Contemporary chart, Toto's second song to top this chart (following 1983's "I Won't Hold You Back").

A music video (in which guest vocalist Michael McDonald also appears) was shot with the band playing on an apartment rooftop until it rained. The rooftop is on top of the building located at 548 South Spring Street in Los Angeles, California, USA. The video also recreates the image from the front of the album with live actors.

"We Built This City" is a 1985 song by American rock band STARSHIP.  It was released as their debut single on their album Knee Deep in the Hoopla. It was written by English musicians Martin Page and Bernie Taupin, who were both living in Los Angeles at the time, and was originally intended as a lament against the closure of many of that city's live music clubs.

The song peaked at Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Outside the United States, "We Built This City" topped the charts in Australia and Canada, peaked inside the Top Ten of the charts in Germany, the Republic of Ireland, Sweden, and Switzerland, the top twenty on the charts in Belgium, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and the Top Thirty of the charts in Austria and the Netherlands.

"How Will I Know" is a song recorded by American singer Whitney Houston for her self-titled debut studio album. The song was released on November 22, 1985, by Arista Records as the album's third single. 

Originally written and composed by George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam, the song was originally intended for R&B singer Janet Jackson, but she passed on it. Houston then recorded the song with altered lyrics and production from Narada Michael Walden. The lyrics speak about the protagonist trying to discern if a boy she likes will ever like her back.

"La Isla Bonita" is a song by American singer Madonna from her third studio album True Blue (1986). Written and produced by Madonna and Patrick Leonard, with additional lyrics by Bruce Gaitsch, the song was originally presented by Leonard as an instrumental demo to Michael Jackson, who turned it down; Leonard then played it to Madonna, who liked it and wrote the lyrics and melodies. 

"La Isla Bonita" was Madonna's first song with Latin influences; its instrumentation features Cuban drums, Spanish guitar arrangements, maracas and harmonicas. The lyrics talk about an island named San Pedro; according to Madonna, the song is a tribute to the beauty of Latinos. The song was released as the fifth and final single from True Blue on February 25, 1987. It was included on her compilation albums The Immaculate Collection (1990), and Celebration (2009).

"Say You Will" is a song by British-American rock band Foreigner. It was the first single released from the album Inside Information (1987), and was co-written by Lou Gramm and Mick Jones.

"Say You Will" was one of Foreigner's last two Top 10 chart hits in the United States, followed by the 1988 release of the single "I Don't Want to Live Without You" (which reached No. 5 on the Hot 100 chart). 

The song also became the band's third-highest-charting hit in Germany, where it reached No. 22, faring even better in Switzerland, the Netherlands, and particularly Norway, where it reached No. 4. The video clip for this song, directed by David Fincher, reached No. 1 on MTV's Top Twenty chart in February 1988.

This magnificent concert was recorded at KKL Lucerne, Switzerland on May 20th and 21st 2017 and thus became the very first Foreigner album, recorded with the orchestral and choral harmonic arrangements of the 21st Century Symphony Orchestra & Chorus.

"A View to a Kill" is the thirteenth single by the English new wave and synth-pop band Duran Duran, released on 6 May 1985. Written and recorded as the theme for the James Bond film of the same name, it became one of the band's biggest hits. 

It remains the only James Bond theme song to have reached Number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100; it also made it to Number Two for three weeks on the UK Singles Chart while stuck behind Paul Hardcastle's "19". 

The song was the last track recorded by the most famous five-member lineup of Duran Duran until their reunion in 2001 and was also performed by the band at Live Aid in Philadelphia, their final performance together before their first split.

"Round And Round" was the fourth hit single off of their 1984 album 'Parade' released on June 25, 1984 by Chrysalis Records. The previous three hit singles were "Only When You Leave", "I'll Fly for You", and "Highly Strung" (respectively).

Although, this song failed to enter the music charts in the U.S., it had reached the Number 19 spot in the United Kingdom. The album itself was successful on both sides of the Atlantic. It hit Number 50 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S. The song has since been featured in some of the band's greatest hits albums and has become a staple favorite among their fans.

Released as the second single from I Can't Stand Still, it spent three weeks at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1983. The single was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America in March 1983, representing sales of a million copies in the United States.

The song is about the callousness of TV news reporting as well as the tabloidization of all news. Henley sings from the standpoint of a news anchorman who "could have been an actor, but I wound up here".

The song's theme is that TV news coverage focuses too much on negative and sensationalist news; in particular, deaths, disasters, and scandals, with little regard to the consequences or for what is important ("We all know that crap is king").

Stop Loving You (35th Anniversary Tour) - TOTO

"Stop Loving You" is a song from the rock band Toto from their album The Seventh One. It features Jon Anderson on backing vocals. It was released as the first single from the album in Europe, peaking at No. 2 in The Netherlands and Belgium.

With original lead vocalist Joseph Williams having left the group not long after the song's recording, lead vocal duties on the song were passed on to Tony Spinner in 2002. Before that many touring members had sung the song on Toto's live concerts. For their live album, Falling in Between Live and final concerts, Toto performed a semi jazz version of the song.

Since Williams' return in 2010, "Stop Loving You" has since appeared on 35th Anniversary Tour and 40 Trips Around the Sun, two live albums released in 2014 and 2018 respectively.

"Here I Go Again" is a song by British rock band Whitesnake. Originally released on their 1982 album, Saints & Sinners, the power ballad was re-recorded for their 1987 self-titled album. 

The song was re-recorded again the same year in a new "radio-mix" version, which was released as a single and hit Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart on 10 October 1987 (the band's only number-one on that chart), and also Number Nine on the UK Singles Chart on 28 November 1987. The 1987 version also hit Number One on the Canadian Singles Chart on 24 October 1987.

The song was written by the lead singer, David Coverdale, and former Whitesnake guitarist, Bernie Marsden. The most notable difference between the original and re-recorded versions are a slight change in the bluesy lyrics and pace.

The re-recording of the song in 1987 was advised by record labels bosses Al Coury and David Geffen as a negotiation deal with Coverdale to re-record "Crying in the Rain" for the band's self-titled album Whitesnake released in 1987.
