Is There Something I Should Know - DURAN DURAN

"Is There Something I Should Know?" is the eighth single by British pop band Duran Duran, released on 14 March 1983.

The song was released as a stand-alone single and became the band's first UK number one record. It debuted in the number one position on the UK Singles Chart on 26 March 1983. The single also had great success in America, where it was released in late May. The song reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 on 6 August 1983 and sold more than a million copies.

The video for "Is There Something I Should Know?" featured colour clips of the band members, in blue shirts with tucked-in white ties, interspersed with surreal images in black-and-white. The video made a point of marking the transition between albums one and two - and the third, featuring clips from several earlier Duran Duran videos. This included "My Own Way" - presented on the Duran Duran Video Album but never released to MTV.
This live performance video is from A Diamond in the Mind: Live 2011 which is a concert film and live album by British pop band Duran Duran. It was filmed at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England, Great Britain on 16 December 2011 during the All You Need Is Now Tour and released on 2 July 2012.

LOST IN LOVE - AIR SUPPLY

Lost In Love - AIR SUPPLY

"Lost in Love" is a song recorded by the British/Australian soft rock duo Air Supply. The song was written by group member Graham Russell.

The original version of the song appeared on the Life Support album in 1979 and was released as a single in Australia, reaching number 13 on the Kent Music Report. The group re-recorded the song for the album of the same name in 1980 and this version was released as a single in the US, reaching number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song reportedly took Russell just 15 minutes to write and the single was made in a single afternoon. It was among the first he wrote after returning to Australia from touring with Rod Stewart, yet found little work upon his return. Despite being short of money, Russell went on a retreat to South Australia, where he felt the solitude would help him to write new material.

Air Supply's popularity in their native country during the mid to late 1970s had not been matched elsewhere. Russell travelled to England in 1979, and while there, discovered that the group's Australian record label Big Time Records had sold "Lost in Love" to Arista Records in the United States for distribution. Soon thereafter, their song became a hit on the music charts in the US.
