HALL & OATES are an American pop rock duo formed in 1970 in Philadelphia. Daryl Hall is generally the lead vocalist; John Oates primarily plays electric guitar and provides backing vocals. The two write most of the songs they perform, separately or in collaboration. 

They are one of the most successful pop-rock duo that consistently have a string of successive chart hits. They achieved their greatest fame from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s with a fusion of rock and roll and rhythm and blues. In 2003, Hall & Oates were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. 

With a residency of 21 weeks in the charts, I Can't Go For That had peaked to the Number 1 position at Billboard's Hot 100 on January 30, 1982. This live performance is from the February 8, 2012 concert held at the Sydney Entertainment Center, Sydney, NSW Australia.
